Notes:
Fabrics: the panel is cut to 41 1/2" square, which is larger than the pattern directs. If you cut your panel to that size, purchase extra border fabrics as noted here to accommodate the longer length of the quilt:
- Panel Border - Purchase an extra 1/8 yard. Cut nine (9) 2 ½” x WOF strips instead of 8 strips per the pattern.
- Outer Border - Purchase an extra 1/4 yard. Cut eight (8) 6” x WOF strips instead of 7 strips per the pattern.
Notes:
1. If you’re comfortable pre-cutting all the fabrics, please do so. If not, please wait until class to do so.
2. The embroidery embellishments are not included in the class instruction. The designs were purchased from Embroidery Library, Product ID M17842 and Product ID M20540, and were embroidered onto the quilt before quilting. The quilting was done with stitch in the ditch in the blocks and panel border, cross hatch on the panel, and with an embroidery design (OESD 12838-21) on the outer border.
