Basic Color Theory using the Color Wheel - Jody

Download Class Info and Supply List
Learn the various ways of using the color wheel to maximize the colors in your projects. During this class, we'll discuss complementary, monochromatic, analogous, triadic, and tetradic color theories. While those terms may appear a bit overwhelming, they create beautiful color patterns that will make your projects pop!
The class will start with you choosing one fat quarter of your choice. From there, we will discuss how to use the color wheel to add two other fabric choices that complement your choice. After the presentation, you will return to the shop floor to choose 2 additional fat quarters that go well with your initial fabric choice.
When you return to the classroom, you will be given a Disappearing Nine Patch block pattern in which you will use your fabrics. All three fat quarters are needed for this project. Please download a Class Info and Supply List from the class calendar to know what supplies to bring with you.
Included in the class fee are three fat quarters of your choosing (to be done in class), a color wheel, a Powerpoint presentation explaining how to use the color wheel, and the pattern to make a Disappearing Nine Patch block.
We believe the information will help you in the future when selecting your fabrics! We look forward to working with all of you!
