Maple Island has been receiving lots of requests for a fat quarter quilt that would work with the bundles of fat quarters that come from new collections or a bundle put together from your favorite shop. Often when working with a collection there are too many mediums and not enough contrast but with the edge fabric defining the blocks there is no problem letting each fabric speak.  There are 4 sizes from wall to queen. The quilt on the cover is the lap size and has a checkerboard border as does the wall size. The twin and queen do not have a border for a very modern, clean look. Yardage for the edge fabric but the rest of the quilt is all fat quarters for these 9” blocks. Many of you will be able to work from your collection at home to create this fun quilt.
